Musical Theatre Classes

Triple Threat curriculum - Act, Sing, Dance.

Little Thespians (1st - 3rd grade)   - A 90 min. round robin musical theatre program where the students rotate from acting to voice to jazz dance. This is a full year program culminating in a mini-musical on the mainstage of a real theatre.   (See Family Theatre below as an additional scheduling option. It's designed to be the same class just with a larger age range).

FAMILY THEATRE (1st - 5th grade) -  This program is designed similarly to the Little Thespians. ***Wider age range for convenience and scheduling. ***90 min. round robin musical theatre program where the students rotate from acting to voice to jazz dance.  This is a full year program culminating in a mini-musical on the mainstage of a real theatre.

DRAMA QUEENZ (4th - 6th grade)  - A 2-hour round robin musical theatre program where the students rotate from acting to voice to jazz dance. This is a full year program culminating in a junior musical on the mainstage of a real theatre. For the '25-'26 school year, we have added an additional class for convenience of scheduling. Choose whichever class works best for you.

• Wednesdays 5:30 - 7:30 OR
• Thursdays 6:00 - 8:00pm OR
• Saturdays 9:45 - 11:45am

**JUNIOR COMPANY (6th-8th grade)  - A 2.5-hour round robin musical theatre program where the students rotate from acting to voice to jazz dance. This is a full year program culminating in a junior musical on the mainstage of a real theatre.  **Rehearsals once a week Sept. - April.  Monday rehearsals from 5pm - 7:15pm will be added for May & June 2027.

**SENIOR COMPANY  (9th - 12th grade)  - A 2.5-hour round robin musical theatre program where the students rotate from acting to voice to jazz dance. This is a full year program culminating in a one-hour musical on the mainstage of a real theatre. **Rehearsals once a week Sept. - April.  Monday rehearsals from 7:00 - 9:30pm will be added for May & June 2027.

SPOTLIGHT COMPANY

This by-audition program is for grades 6th - 12th. Please see our Spotlight tab for further info.

SPECIALTY CLASSES



M & M's (Ages 4 - Kindergarten) - 10 week Movement & Music class for our youngest performers.  Our M&M's will love this movement class incorporating dance, obstacles courses,  instrument/prop use and vocalizations.   Each 10 week session ends with an in-house showcase.

• Tuesdays 5:00pm - 6:00pm.   $190 per session

• Fall Session:  Sept. 14 - Nov. 19th
• Winter Session:   Jan.  4th - March 18th, 2027
• Spring Session:   March 23rd - June 3, 2027

Small Fry Players (Ages 4 - Kindergarten)  - 10 week Intro-to-Theatre classes (Fall/Winter/Spring semesters) for our youngest performers. In class, students will engage in song and dance warm-ups, pretend play and story-theatre. Each session will present an in-house showcase at the end of the 10 weeks.

• Wednesdays 4:30 - 5:30 OR
• Thursdays 4:30 - 5:30

Icebreakerz  - (Ages 8+) This is a welcoming group improv class for those who may get social anxiety & want to explore theatre-arts in a warm, supportive group of their peers. Students engage in drama activities to open up and become their most confident self. Non-performance class.

• Wednesdays 5:30 - 6:30

Actors Studio  I (3rd - 6th grade) - “And…lights!” For the students who love performing scenes, speaking lines, creating a character! This is a non-singing, non-dancing, drama class consisting of an ensemble warm-up and improv, beginner scene work, monologuing, and script writing. Play-performance in June.  PLAY - T.B.D.

• Thurs. 5:30pm - 6:30pm

Glee Club (3rd - 6th grade) - "Slap your lap & finger snap!" Join our song and dance party! This one-hour class will combine singing and dancing to create a show-choir like musical theatre troupe. This class will have a holiday performance in December and a mainstage performance in June.

MR. RYAN'S DANCE CLASSES - These classes are by invitation only, taught by Mr. Ryan Worrell of Amy Tyler's School of Dance.
